Last Paradise is the prototype of an immersive space I imagined that humans can only simulate the feeling of happiness here after eras, while people lost the ability to generate happiness by themselves. Last Paradise is the embodiment of people’s desperation for happiness, and it only exists virtually when real happiness was extinct.
I investigate how happiness and other emotions could be easily faked and become valueless and why it starts being hard for modern individuals to confirm the existence of real emotions through this series of works. I applied diffluent and textured materials to convey the contradictions, conflicts, and compromises existing in both people's hypotheses and reality that make it difficult to truly ascertain emotions.
